I attended this church for 7 years; volunteered and even got baptized there. When I really needed help February 2016--they wouldn't even respond to multiple emails I had sent! To be fair, they did offer me help once--in 2006--but unless your attempting to donate cash, DON'T expect a reply from this "church" corporation! I'm really sorry I wasted so much time and money there...and the staff has a higher turnover rate than car dealerships! Jeeez!!!

  • I have been attending North Hills Church for 5... almost 6 years. I want to share that this church is unlike any other church I have attended for several reasons. First, the people are real, which means that they have made mistakes and can relate to where you might be; but they have been forgiven and strive to reflect God's Love. Secondly, our pastors are down to earth, not acting like they have everything perfectly together in their lives, making it easier to relate with them. Thirdly, this church will become a great support system, if you let them; meaning you have to get involved, active and become vulnerable yourself. I remember the first time we came, we waited awkwardly, all alone for service to start and the most genuine man came to welcome us... come to find out later that was Pastor Jim. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Pastor Jim better through taking classes, premarital counseling and going on a mission trip with him. He cares so much for his church family, he is passionate about our church making a difference in the community and world wide. Our other pastors are also excellent! Pastor Lori is on fire for the Lord! Pastor Jeff is very entertaining but is very serious about teaching the word and helping people find their purpose! And honestly, I do not know much about the newest pastor, the youth pastor, but from hearing his sermon, he is committed to helping make disciples for Christ. The office staff incredible and the volunteers alike. I know that it is hard to figure out what reviews to believe but after reading my churches reviews I was appalled that anyone would post such untrue, unkind things. If you try our church out and have a problem, it is only fair that you would bring up your concerns, NOT TRASH TALK..... it is an individuals responsibility to resolve a conflict, not gossip about it!!!!

  • I am a 23 year old army veteran and I will say this church saved my life. I work with the kids often voluntarily. As far as financially they do the best they can. This church has a food bank and does many many events for the community. Every Sunday is amazing as is every Wednesday and monday and every other day I get to spend with these disciples. In a time my regular family left me the north hills family saved me. God bless.

Ive been attending North Hills for a good majority of my life. We will now be leaving for a number of reasons. My family was very close with the childrens director who was absolutely phenomenal at her job. She has put her whole heart into it and has been at this church for 22 years. Less than 2 years ago, Jeff Whye, one of the main pastors, came to North Hills. He has changed the environment of the church for the wrose. The amazing childrens director has now resigned because of Jeff. My five sisters and I really enjoyed kathy coles (childrens director) ministry. Jeff says hes a christian but his actions just dont reflect that. I loved this church but it is just not going in the direction that I feel God has called me to go in.

The people that have wrote good reviews of this church are on the board of elders. Or members that have some family member that works for the church. I know many of the people that have wrote reviews. I would agree with them. The people that wrote good reviews where trying to do damage control. When so many claim that there are problems you would think changes would have been made. The problem with that is. The people that have been hurt. Where hurt by higher staff with in the click that this church has. There are better Christian church's out there where your needs will be met. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good people there. It is just to bad that some of the staff are not true in there lifes. And when you read the others posts you can tell that the members where hurt some way. That's why this church will always struggle with members. If it was not for the older members that donate there money this church would not be able to make it. Thank you for your time.
