  This has been my home church for many years. I have stayed at this church because of the sense of belonging and family I feel when here. It is a great church in many many ways. Grace has a very large homeless ministry-in fact, many people know us as the pancake church. If they don't recognize the name, Grace Lutheran, they will know where you go if you say The Pancake Church.
  However, I have noticed that many of the members come and go as they decide whether they like the pastor or if they decide that they don't agree with somebody in the church. They base their membership on other members rather than on what is being preached and taught, as they should.
  If you are more concerned with the members, this is a perfect church for you. But if you are more concerned with what is taught, you may have a little searching still.
  One other thing is that the worship is dead. The family is alive after church and before church and during the greeting, but as for worship? I have never felt the Holy Spirit. I've never been completely moved in the presence of the Lord at this church, and I've been to churches where it's very discernible. I've been trying for years to move things along but we've been very slow to change. For the first time in nearly 100 years, we have a female pastor who has done wonderful things in the church. With the youth, and hospitality ministry, with the morale of the church in general. But I can't honestly say it's enough to keep me. I'll be moving alone to a new church within the next couple of years, but Grace has always been my home and always will be
